Green Growth Boot Camp with Mayor of London

Through the exhibition of ground-breaking blog This Big City by alumnus Joe Peach, Connecting Creativity participated in the launch of the Green Growth Boot Camp by the Mayor of London on 19 October at Kingston University. This superb event was accompanied by a remarkable and informative display of sustainability and enterprise from across the University.

Supporting the Boot Camp project with Kingston University are the Royal Bank of Scotland, Capital Enterprise, The Mayor of London, Ecoconnect and Merton Chamber of Commerce.

Connecting Creativity is publishing a forthcoming events list in the very near future, so check back soon.

Best wishes from the team.

Four days to go…

Preparations for the Connecting Creativity and Business Culturepreneurs event are reaching a peak,  and the number of registrations indicates we will have a very good attendance. If you haven’t registered yet, go to the Register tab above and click on.

Our panellists are all confirmed, and represent the excellence of both established and newer entrepreneurs, from across the creative industries. The day will begin with welcoming and registration, followed by introductory presentations to contextualize the day. Our first panel will present their individual career routes through the creative industries, and take questions from the moderator and audience. After the break, our second panel addresses the challenge of designing future culturepreneurs. Can we? Should we?

If you would like to discover the answers, and bring your own questions, join us!

Connecting Creativity and Business

Connecting Creativity and Business is a series of events which investigates intermediaries in the Creative Industries today. Convened by Catherine Morel, Director of the MA Creative Industries and the Creative Economy programme at Kingston University, this series assembles professional and academic speakers who are influential in their field to share their experience and insights, explore and debate the activities of intermediaries and consider their prospects as the Creative Industries evolve.

These events will appeal to practitioners  and students from across the Creative Industries. Interested observers and researchers in this sector are also welcome. Please click the page tabs above for details of our activities.
